Statement on the Passing of Bruce Robinson:
The Baltimore County Republican Party extends our heartfelt sympathy to the family of Bruce Robinson, who passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
Bruce was a current member of the Baltimore County Board of Elections and its most recent President. In this role, Bruce served the citizens of Baltimore County with great integrity and with a tremendous knowledge of Election Law.
Bruce was a friend to many of us in Baltimore County. In addition to his work on the Board of Elections, he was former Parliamentarian at the Maryland Association of Election Officials (MAEO). He studied law and jurisprudence at the University of Baltimore. Bruce's passion for democracy, election integrity, and politics, were just some of his many interests.
He played the mandolin in the Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra and was the past Chairman of the Orchestra. He had a love for books and owned Bruce's Basement Books. Bruce was very active in the Optimist Club and worked tirelessly to benefit youth.
Bruce owned Basic Sound Business Services and provided DJ and sound services at events.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Lorraine Gordon, and family. At this time, there are no details for a service. Cards may be sent to:
Please keep Bruce's wife, family, and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
Rest In Peace, Bruce.
