Hunt Valley, MD) Monday evening at the monthly meeting of the Baltimore County Republican Party members voted against statewide ballot Questions #1, #2 and Baltimore County Charter Question A.

Statewide Question 1 - Elective Franchise - Early Voting and Polling Places is viewed by the party as a "lynch pin to additional voter fraud in Maryland." Members unanimously voted against this question without discussion due to the potential of fraud if this measure passes.

Statewide Question 2 - Video Lottery Terminals - Authorization and Limitations was overwhelmingly defeated with only two nay votes and two abstentions. The committee viewed this measure as improper as a Constitutional amendment and as a farce of previously presented VLT bills, which would in-fact, have help the citizens of Maryland and the Horse Industry in Baltimore County.

Question A – Baltimore County Charter Amendment – Qualification of Council Members was unanimously defeated by the committee. This act was considered by the committee which allows Council members to hold office while working for the State of Maryland, to be a blatant conflict of interest.

"The Republican Party of Baltimore County has taken a stand and urges all citizens in Baltimore County to vote against these measures" stated County Chairman Chris Cavey.

"These measures are immorally being inserted into our basics of law." Cavey continued. "The citizens of Baltimore County need to realize that voting yes on every question is not the correct answer. Do not be blinded by the Trojan Horse of Democrat trickery. Vote no on Question 1, 2 and Charter Question A."
